Drifties — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Drifties does not collect anything about you. There is no account to create and no server that your play is sent to. Your progress stays on your phone.
This page says exactly what the game keeps, where it keeps it, and the one place money can change hands. It covers the Drifties game for iPhone and Android.
There is no account
You do not sign up or sign in, and the game never asks for your name, email address or phone number. There is nothing for anyone to look up, lose or hand over.
Nothing goes to a server
Drifties has no server and does not send your play anywhere. Every level, its story and its videos come built into the game when you download it, so it does not fetch a level or report a result.
The only thing the game talks to outside your phone is the store you got it from, to show, sell, restore or confirm Drifties Deluxe. That is described under Purchases below.
What the game remembers, and where
The game saves your progress in its own private storage on your device:
- The stars you have earned on each level
- Your best endless run, and how many you have played today
- Which story scenes you have already seen, and whether you have finished the first-run introduction
- Your settings, such as sound, music, haptics, colour-blind marks and story videos
- Whether Drifties Deluxe is unlocked
None of it is sent to us, and we cannot see any of it, so we cannot recover it for you either.
One thing is outside the game: if you have turned on your phone's own device backup (iCloud Backup on iPhone, or your Google account's backup on Android), that backup can include the game's save, as it does for most apps. That copy belongs to your backup, under Apple's or Google's terms, not to us.
Analytics, ads and tracking
To help us when we test the game, Drifties notes gameplay events, such as a level being started, finished or abandoned, a hint being used or two colours mixing. These notes are written only to your device's own system log. They carry no name, account or identifier of yours, and they are never sent to us or to anyone else. Your phone clears its log on its own.
There are no ads in Drifties, and no tracking of any kind. There is no advertising or analytics software from another company in the game. It reads no advertising identifier, and you will never see the prompt that asks permission to track you across other apps and websites.
Purchases
Drifties is free to play through its story. It offers one optional purchase: Drifties Deluxe, which opens more levels. The store you got the game from processes that payment: the App Store on iPhone, under Apple's own privacy policy, and Google Play on Android, under Google's. We never see your payment details, your card or your billing address. Neither store shares them with us.
What the game keeps is the result: a note on your device that Deluxe is unlocked, so it keeps working offline. "Restore purchase" asks the same store to confirm it again, for example on a new phone.
Children
The game collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There is no account, no profile, no chat, and no way for one player to reach another.
Deleting your data
Deleting the game deletes everything it saved. Your progress lives only in the game's own storage on your phone, so removing the game removes it too. A phone backup you made before then is yours to keep or delete in your phone's settings.
For the same reason, we cannot delete, export or restore your progress on request, because we have never had it. A purchase is the exception. That record belongs to the Apple or Google account you bought it with, and that store can restore it.
Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that changes this policy, for example if it ever sends anything off your phone, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date above will change with it.
